Luke 21:1-4
This is an excellent passage that helps us better understand some key principles about generosity. Think about these things...

1. The attitude, not the amount, reveals your heart.
2. The sacrifice, not the security, reveals your faith.
3. The blessing given, not the bill received, reveals your understanding.

This woman was truly practicing generosity. Did she have a lot to give? No. But what she gave, she gave sacrificially. Her generosity also put her in a vulnerable position where she expressed her commitment to God over her daily provisions. We can't ignore that a fine line exists between stupidity and faith, but we also can't restrict our faith just because being generous may cost us something. We have to remember that God has given to us so that we can give to others. Faith and generosity should be considered foolishness when you know the source from where all blessings flow! 2 Corinthians 9:11
