While you are standing in line at the bank... the person behind you just received some life-shattering news and you are supposed to tell them it will be okay?
As you are pumping your gas... the person at the pump beside you woke up this morning thinking about God for the first time in years and you are the person who will help them find a church so they can learn more about Him?
As you are going through that very long line at Wal-Mart... the cashier is about to give up on life, God, family, and friends, but you are supposed to encourage them to keep going and let them know there's hope?
You see someone who is obviously in need and your one act of generosity launches a ripple of generous acts that continue all day long, and as a result, this person eventually ends up accepting Jesus as their Savior before the day is over?
You decide to ignore the world around you, remain in your bubble, and miss the opportunities that God sends your way?
The truth is... You don't have to miss a single opportunity. Pray that God will help you be in tune with the world around you. After some of the things I've experienced this week, I'm fully convinced that every encounter is an opportunity to lead someone towards Christ with overflowing love! You may not actually be the one who helps them make the commitment to Christ, but don't think for a second that whatever part you play is not important. Galatians 6:9-10a says, "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone."
