You would think I'd be used to it by now, but this weather is really inconsistent. I've lived in Tennessee my whole life, so I know that unpredictable weather is just part of our climate, but these past few weeks have really been from one extreme to another. This feeling of inconsistency regarding the weather really frustrates me at times, especially when I forget to check the weather before I leave, and I walk out the door without a coat.
Nevertheless, I thought I'd take a minute today and remind you (and myself) of somethings that are always consistent. These are things that you don't ever have to worry about... the love of God and the promises of His Word. In all honesty, people are inconsistent, the weather is inconsistent, our feelings are inconsistent, and in this economy our paychecks can even be inconsistent, but take comfort in knowing that through Jesus Christ you can be connected, comforted, and empowered by the Creator of the universe. I hope these verses bring some comfort and consistency to you today!
