I came across Romans 4:18-21 the other day, and God gave me an amazing reminder as I read the words Paul wrote regarding life of Abraham...
No matter how great our situation, adversity, and/or disappointment may be, the power of God is always, always greater!
We often become so hindered in our faith because we've put more stock in our circumstances than we have in God's power. I'm not very knowledgeable in the stock market, but I do know that when you invest, you are best served to invest in something that has a solid track record and great potential. When it comes to our faith, we must be sure to invest in God's track record and faithfulness. Nothing compares to it.
Perhaps you are so frustrated with life because you are placing too much focus and confidence in something/someone that is unstable and far inferior to God.
In the midst of whatever you are going through right now, is your faith wavering? Are you doubting God's ability to come through? His track record proves that He won't fail! Are you fully persuaded that God is capable of fulfilling His promises? We are further reminded in Romans 5:5 that hope placed in God does not disappoint!
If you're struggling to be fully depend upon God, you may need to ask Him to break you down to the point that your prayer is nothing more than "I can't, but you can."
