-6 people were baptized
-1 person gave their life to Christ
-Communion was taken together for the first time
I can't even start to describe in words what we experienced this past Sunday. We definitely experienced authentic community as a church, and it left us standing in awe of God and hungering for more.
Worship set was...
-Hands and Feet (Audio Adrenaline)
-God is Alive (Steve Fee)
-How He Loves (David Crowder)
-Communion Song/Remember Me (Third Day)
-Amazing Grace, My Chains Are Gone (Chris Tomlin)

The main takeaway from the message was... Don't settle for observing when you could be participating. The life God has for us is too great to settle for anything less. Why would we settle for only watching life pass us by or watching the church function without us? We can't miss the opportunity to participate in authentic community.
Two actions steps that will help us move from observing to participating...
1) Serve- Jesus was willing to wash people's feet, so we have no excuse to not get involved and live in authentic community regardless of how hard this may be for us or what may need to change within us.
2) Celebrate- God desires for us to worship and glorify His name for what He's doing. We can and should do this each day on our own, but this should also overflow into our time together on Sunday mornings. Specifically, baptism and communion should be regular parts of our celebrations within the church.
